MATHESON VISIT TO THE RAF MUSEUM, LONDON, ON SUNDAY 21 MAY 2006
Despite the rain, this was one of the best Clan events we've had for a long time. The Royal Air Force Museum is based on the original London Aerodrome, and houses more than a hundred aircraft from all over the world. The London collection includes some very early aeroplane designs, from war planes such as the legendary Battle of Britain Spitfire aeroplanes and Lancaster Bombers of World War II through to the latest, modern-day jets and military aircraft. The site also contains a comprehensive library of pictures, photos and detailed information about all of the aeroplanes in the museum's different collections.
Everyone who went said what a fantastic day they had had. Here are some photos to prove it!
